The project main results will be:

• Increased workers’ participation in the aviation sector undertakings and improved knowledge on realizing employees’ rights to participation and consultation in time of the crisis.
• Analysed and improved understanding and knowledge of the public sector (focus on aviation) workers on implementation of their rights according to the Directive 2009/38/EC and 2003/72/EC4 and 2003/72/ E during the crisis.
• Gained common visions and exchanged the problem-solving approaches between employees and employers considering the impact of the novel pandemic and affected by the Green Deal priorities.
• Raised awareness of both workers and employers on how to realize the EC directives in time of crisis and how to strengthen consultation mechanisms during the crisis.
• Delivered possible solutions on the workers’ involvement in decision-making dealing with the crisis caused by COVID-19, challenges of the employees and employers in the crisis.
• Delivered guiding principles on how to effectively manage equal involvement of workers in decisionmaking during restructuring and transitioning periods caused by the COVID-19 and affected (among others) by the Commissions’ strategy to reduce emissions from aviation.
• Ensured the importance of cooperation and open decision making over not taking into consideration of workers’ interests during the crisis.
• Increased public sector (with the emphasis on the aviation) workers knowledge and practical skills to defend their rights and lobbying their interests during the crisis.
• Provided the employees and employers joint conclusions on the conditions in terms of information, consultation and participation during the novel pandemic and provide implications on how to tackle the problem in long-term perspective.
• Transferred positive know-how from EU level stakeholders related to the workers’ involvement in decisión making during the crisis.
• Raised awareness on how to increase consultation and participation mechanisms in the aviation sector undertakings during the crisis and suggest common approaches that benefit both employees and employers.
